COVID-19 Resident Communication (Mpls & St Paul) – 1.6.22

January 6, 2022

Dear Residents,

Effective today, January 6, 2022, in compliance with the Executive Orders issued by Mayor Frey of Minneapolis and Mayor Carver of St. Paul, face coverings will be required in the common areas of apartment buildings in Minneapolis and St. Paul. This will include:

• Lobbies
• Hallways
• Stairwells
• Laundry Rooms
• Mail Rooms
• Trash and Recycling Rooms
• Recreation Rooms
• Business Centers
• Fitness Centers
• Community Lounges
• Underground garages
• Any other community common area spaces not specifically defined above

If you have a maintenance request that must be attended to in your apartment, our staff will be required to wear face coverings.

Individuals with a medical condition, mental health condition or disability that makes it unreasonable for the individual to maintain a face covering are exempt. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who have a medical condition that compromises their ability to breathe, and individuals who are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a face covering without assistance. Children two and under are also exempt.

If you believe you qualify for an exemption pursuant to this Executive Order for wearing a face covering in common areas of the building, please contact your Property Manager to discuss the matter and reasonable accommodation options.

We appreciate your compliance with these Executive Orders and respectfully ask you to remind your guests to comply as well.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
